The freight ferry port of Rosyth is located eight miles from Edinburgh and 40 miles from Glasgow on the north shore of the Firth of Forth immediately west of the Forth Road and Rail Bridges, with deep water river berths. Since its opening in 1998, a number of businesses have boomed around the commercial harbour so Scottish Enterprise is looking to develop the port of Rosyth and expand services.
