The Port of Grenland, owned by the municipalities of Skien, Porsgrunn and Bamble, is located 160 kilometers southwest of Oslo in Telemark county in south eastern Norway. The Port of Grenland administrates four modern and efficient terminals - Brevik, Langesund, Porsgrunn and Skien which are able to handle almost any kind of cargo from general cargo to Lo-Lo, Ro-Ro, Ro-Pax, dry bulk, petroleum products and liquefied gas.

The ports have good capacity on its quays, road and railways, providing a smooth and speedy transfer of goods. Starting in July 2013 Langesund will be a new port of call for Fjord Line offering a daily service to Hirtshals.

Langesund Ferry Port facilities

The facilities at Langesund Port include a soft drink and snack vending machine and toilets (located on the first floor and outside). Although there is no cash dispenser at the port, cash can be withdrawn once you are on board the Fjord Line ferry.

If you depart in the winter, we advise you to check roads and weather information as well as the appropriate requirement for your vehicles tyres.

If you drive E18 follow the signs towards Langesund / DK

From the east (Oslo): Take the E18 southbound Take exit 51 toward Langesund Follow Highway Rv354 and signs for Langesund/Grenland Havn

From the south (Kristiansand): Take the E18 towards Oslo Follow E18 until exit 51 toward Langesund Follow Highway Rv354 and signs for Langesund/Grenland Havn
