About Wightlink

With purpose built roll on/roll off ferries and a choice of routes Wightlink is the popular choice for freight drivers. With sailings every half an hour at peak times, Wightlink operates over 68,000 trips across the Solent each year.

The crossing time between Lymington & Yarmouth is 35 minutes. Three new vessels serve this route offering hourly departures throughout the day, increasing to half-hourly during peak periods.

The service between Portsmouth & Fishbourne has a crossing time of 40 minutes; this service operates all year round, day and night. The Portsmouth - Fishbourne route is especially suited to the shipment of abnormal loads, as the ships have double-width ramps and can accommodate extra long or heavy loads.

On board Wightlink

During the short crossing drivers can relax in comfortable surroundings and refreshment facilities are available.
