About Transfennica
Transfennica is a shipping company operating services between a number of major European ports and Finland, they currently operate a fleet of 15 modern vessels.
May 2014 saw the start of a new service for Transfennica with the current Bilbao to Zeebrugge service now including a two weekly call to Portsmouth. The dedicated freight-only route is designed primarily for the movement of unaccompanied traffic althought the freight vessels can carry 12 drivers per sailing. The route is also perfectly suited for the carriage of abnormal loads, heavy vehicles, mafi trailers and hazardous cargoes.
Transfennica offer a freight only service. Although the service is primarily for unaccompanied traffic, Transfennica do carry a limited number of accompanied freight vehicles.
