Recent Changes

The service between Ancona, Igoumenitsa and Patras is operated as a joint venture between Superfast Ferries and Anek Line. This joint service aims to optimise the capacity offered on this route.


About Superfast Ferries

As part of the Attica Group, Superfast Ferries operates a fleet of five ships. Superfast I and Superfast II were buiilt in 2008 and 2009 respectively and these 26,000 ton twins serve the Bari - Igoumenita - Patras link. At nearly 33,000 tons, Superfast VI was built in 2000 and operates the Ancona - Igoumenita - Patras service. Superfast XI, at almost 31,000 tons and built in 2002, operates the same route.

There are ten departures each week on the Ancona - Igoumenita - Patras link with a crossing time of 21 hours. The Bari - Igoumenita - Patras sees a daily service, with a crossing time of between 15 ½ & 17 hours.
