About GLD Atlantique

GLD Atlantique is a subsidiary of Louis Dreyfus Armateurs Group which has been offering maritime transportation since 1904. Today, LDA has a fleet of over 60 ships operating around the globe.

Launched in September 2010, GLD Atlantique offers ro-pax services between Saint Nazaire's Montoir terminal in the Loire Atlantique & Gijón, in the Principality of Asturias, Spain. The 15 hour crossing saves a road journey of 1,000 kilometres.

With three weekly departures in each direction the service is operated by Norman Asturias. At 26,500 tons the vessel has 2,250 lane metres and can accommodate up to 120 freight units.

On board GLD Atlantique

Onboard facilities include a self-service restaurant, a comfortable pub, the Wave shop and a cinema. The ship has 120 cabins. A cabin berth is included with the freight rate, together with an evening meal and breakfast.
