Founded in 1972, Brittany Ferries has become the leader in freight transportation across the Western Channel. Brittany ferries offers the greatest variety of routes and departure ports than any other operator serving the English Channel, with regular sailings from Portsmouth, Poole and Plymouth.
Each freight route has been created with the freight customer in mind, saving considerable time and mileage. Brittany Ferries now offers the quickest, most direct routes to Western France, Spain & Portugal.
2011 saw the addition of a service between Portsmouth & Bilbao to the Brittany Ferries route network, offering a reliable year round freight service. Bilbao is connected to the Spanish motorway network and offers excellent connections within Spain and onwards to Portugal. This new service means Brittany Ferries now offers up to seven crossings a week between the UK and Northern Spain
Brittany Ferries currently has a fleet of eight vessels servicing 10 routes. The newest addition to the fleet is Cap Finistere which entered service in March 2010.
Whichever crossing, Brittany Ferries state of the art vessels provide a wealth of facilities for the freight driver including designated relaxation areas, restaurants, bars and more.
Drivers are also provided with comfortable cabin accommodation ensuring that they arrive at their destination feeling relaxed and refreshed. Cabin upgrades are available; please contact us for further details.
