Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a Spanish city, the capital city of Gran Canaria which is one of the Canary Islands. For about 5 centuries the port of Las Palmans has been the traditional port of call for virtually any ship sailing the Mid Atlantic. The strategic geographical location in the seaway between Europa, Africa and America, the prefect conditions of its bay and the high quality of its services has made it one of the most important ports in the Mid Atlantic. As an international port, it combines import and export traffic with all kind of services required by ships calling at it as well as fishing, passenger and leisure boat traffic.
